Steps to Take When You are not Getting Pregnant

For many couples getting pregnant isn0t as easy as it seems. Approximately 1 in 10 couples will experience infertility and most couples do not get pregnant during their first month of trying to conceive. If you are finding it difficult in becoming pregnant perhaps this article can help you.
The first step in trying to get pregnant is to understand your body and your body0s course during the time leading up to ovulation. One way of learning about ovulation and your cycle is by charting your cervical mucous and taking your temperature. This way you can observe for signs of ovulation. When you Chart you can better determine if you are ovulating or not.
Another recommendation is to use a Ovulation Prediction Kit or (OPK). These are readily available at your local drugstore or pharmacy. Usually about a day or two before you ovulate your body will produce a surge of the luteinizing hormone, LH. The OPK will work by detecting the LH surge. Your OPK kit will come with instructions on how to use the test and what time of the day is better to test.
